References on R
The site Quick-R
by Robert Kabacoff has many helpful instructions on using R, from
elementary to advanced topics.
Kabacoff has also authored a book on R
called R in Action that I think is the best of its kind. The Quick-R site explains how to purchase the book at a substantial discount. The second, revised edition is supposed to appear at end of May 2015.
This is a link to tutorial notes on R by John Verzani. The notes were
later substantially revised and published as a book that I highly
recommend: Verzani, John. 2014. Using R for Introductory Statistics. (2nd edition.) Chapman & Hall/CRC. John Verzani's notes
